This autumn, Hog Roast Honley has been hired to provide a delicious formal menu at an upcoming anniversary celebration. Dawn and her husband have been married for 40 years this October and wanted to host a meal with their friends and family to commemorate the occasion. The event was set to take place at a local function room, which had been elegantly decorated to mark the occasion. For the couple and their guests, this event was going to be a great reason to get dressed up and enjoy a delicious meal, good company, and plenty of drinks! Hog Roast Honley’s formal dining package was the ideal menu for the job and was bound to go down a treat.
Our formal dining package began with a delicious starter served to the guests by our experienced waiting staff. The guests enjoyed a homemade so
up of the day, served with fresh bread and butter. This is a warming and delicious starter that is always enjoyed by all.
For the main course, the guests chose between a roasted sirloin steak or a delicious meat-free alternative. The main dish was served with a selection of delicious accompaniments, including roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and sage and onion stuffing. This is a delicious and luxurious main course with something for every guest to enjoy.
The menu ended with an elegant dessert course, consisting of profiterole’s and fresh cheesecake. The dishes were served with fresh fruit and English cream to ensure that they looked as good as they tasted.
