While it’s true that your little one is highly unlikely to remember a single thing about their first birthday party, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t throw one anyway.
First birthdays are an important milestone, not just for the child but for the parents as well. Think about it this way – you made it through all of those sleepless nights, the nappy changes and all the crying (from the baby as well!). The first year is tough, indeed. But let’s not forget that it’s also filled with so many incredible memories, and throwing a party to celebrate a whole year of parenthood is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Now, we know the idea of planning a party when your baby is still so young seems like a lot of work – but it doesn’t have to be!
Hog Roast Ackton has spent decades perfecting our service, and we are proud to be able to offer a range of affordable catering plans that can be tailored to suit your exact needs. What’s more, our team is friendly, approachable and extremely proficient, and their presence at your party means you won’t have to worry about anything other than enjoying yourself.
For our most recent clients, Anna and Fraser, throwing a first birthday party for their son, Noah, became a whole lot less daunting once they had gotten Hog Roast Ackton on board. They couldn’t believe how seamless and hassle-free our booking process was and how happy our catering managers, Darren and Claire, were to help them throughout the entire process.
Instead of having to worry about juggling the dietary needs of their 50-something guests, Anna and Fraser were able to relax and focus on having a great time.
When the day of the party arrived, Hog Roast Ackton headed to the venue ahead of time to get everything set up; so that when the guests arrived, there was a massive buffet of delicious foods waiting for them to enjoy.
The indulgent feast, which consisted of BBQ pork butt, beef brisket, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens and grilled vegetable kebabs, was an instant hit among the attendees. Everyone was amazed by these fresh and tasty flavours, which were accompanied by a selection of salad options, mixed fries and coleslaw.
Rounding off the incredible evening, Hog Roast Ackton sliced Noah’s birthday cake and served it as a buffet with fresh cream and ripe berries.
