With Halloween having just passed, everyone’s attention has turned to the next big holiday of the year…Christmas! Yes, in less than 8 weeks from now, we’ll be snuggling up on the sofa with a steamy mug of hot chocolate, unwrapping gifts from loved ones and chowing down on what is arguably the best meal of the year. Well, you will be, at least.
As caterers, the festive season is one of the busiest times of the year for our Hog Roast Golcar staff, and this year will be no different. So far, we’ve spoken to a high volume of customers and clients who are keen for us to help out with their Xmas-related events, and we couldn’t be more excited about it!
We also have some good news for those of you who haven’t yet made a start on planning your Christmas dinner; we still have some spaces left in our diary! So, if you fancy dining on a truly sensational meal that you didn’t have to prepare, then be sure to give Hog Roast Golcar a call. It would be an honour to cook for you this Christmas!
Not only will you love being able to kick back and relax while our caterers do all the hard work, but we’re confident that the flavours of our Christmas menu will blow you away.
Lovingly prepared by our catering managers, Darren and Claire, this aptly named Festive Feast includes the nation’s best-loved Christmastime recipes, including cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, glazed seasonal vegetables, homemade gravy and golden roast potatoes seasoned with fresh rosemary and garlic. That’s not all, of course!
For the main, you will have a choice of Hog Roast Golcar’s famous spit-roasted pig with all the trimmings or a juicy and tender turkey, complete with cranberry sauce and sage and onion stuffing. At the end of your wonderful meal, our team will serve traditional mince pies with warm brandy cream and alcoholic or non-alcoholic mulled wine.
If there are any leftovers, Darren and Claire will serve them on a platter for your guests to pick away at before they clean away any refuse and leve you to enjoy your celebrations.
