This year, Hog Roast Barnsley was hired to cater for Martin and Sam’s wedding, which is taking place in a renovated barn, with a beautiful rustic theme. The venue is perfect for this reception since it is already so cosy and welcoming and will look even more inviting when it is decked with spring flowers, fairy lights, and greenery. For the catering, our team has been hired to provide our al fresco menu for 80 guests. This is the perfect menu for the occasion since it will complement the rustic theme while being incredibly delicious and enjoyable. Our team is looking forward to catering for this event and enjoying an afternoon in a beautiful setting, with great food!
In preparation for this wedding, the Hog Roast Barnsley team will arrive at the venue in the morning and begin to prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. This menu begins with delicious sharing platters, which are served on each table for the guests to enjoy. The platters will include gourmet meats and cheeses, as well as salad and fresh bread. Once the starters have been enjoyed, we will be serving our slow-roasted hog, which is the star of this menu. The succulent pork will be cooked to perfection on the day of the event and expertly carved. The sliced meat will then be served in fresh bread rolls and accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling, creating a hearty and filling main meal. To finish the menu, the guests can choose from a fresh fruit salad and profiteroles, with each dish accompanied by English cream and fresh berries.
