This stunning Hog Roast Thurnscoe menu includes several handmade canapés served to welcome your guests (and you can bring along refreshments for us to serve at the same time if you like). We then serve a starter to the tables, two main courses that are served buffet-style alongside a selection of vegetables or three salads and a potato dish that you choose in advance, and then to conclude this feast, two plated desserts are served to the seated guests, as well as tea, coffee and mints. The hardest part may be deciding which of our lovely dishes to feature on your menu, as we have lots to choose from, and we can also provide options for special diets if needed – just let us know when you book and we can help you to decide.
In terms of the canapés that we serve, you get to choose five from a list of possibilities, then for your starter, select from heritage tomato and beetroot carpaccio, Scottish smoked salmon, homemade soup and roasted duck breast. For your two mains, decide from a hog roast, spit-roasted English lamb, free-range chickens, free-range turkeys, sirloin of beef or grilled meats of handmade beef burgers and gourmet sausages and then you can choose your preferred salads or vegetables and a potato dish from Dauphinoise, roasties with garlic and rosemary or buttered new potatoes with chives. Finally, you just need to let us know which two puddings to serve, such as cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding or profiteroles and vacherins of strawberries and passion fruit cream.
