With weather warnings and freezing temperatures in the north of Scotland, it’s been a cold few days to come traversing into the office. But when it comes to work there aren’t quite so many snow days as we had at school; the work must continue, and so that means the lunchtime catering must too!
To help out some of our local business partners in this end of the country, Hog Roast Carlton were out warming up workplaces with our sizzling roasts and delicious catered fare. We got the boots and the gloves on, loaded up the vans with our roasting equipment and a pork roast, and braved our way through the elements to some of our loyal corporate partners to make sure that coming into the workplace that day was well worth the effort for the workers.
Our corporate catering services are some of our favourites here at Hog Roast Carlton. Working with other local businesses like ourselves makes us feel more at home as part of a larger community, and it is always great to be able to see what else the local industry has to offer. Plus, unlike private or wedding catering, with corporate catering it is far more likely that you are going get repeat orders with the same client, or work more closely on a regular basis with a customer, so after a while you build up a relationship both with the customer and their workers. The workers look forward to us coming every second week or so, and we look forward to coming and catching up with them for an hour or two. This is the sole reason that we run a regular partner program for those business clients that do come to us on a repeat basis as it means we can more officially thank them for choosing Hog Roast Carlton.
With this cold week we were delighted to see some of these partners again – some of the first time this year! – and catch up over a hot hog roll as we all looked to warm up from a frosty day. For those that braved the elements to come to work, we hope that Hog Roast Carlton made the journey worth it!
