Hog Roast Wortley provides the ultimate wedding feast

Hog Roast WortleyHog Roast Wortley’s catering managers Darren and Claire and their lovely team would like to wish the newlyweds Keith and Mary a huge congratulations on their special day. Apparently, this day had been in the pipeline for years with Keith’s mum and Mary planning the wedding long before Keith got down on one leg. According to the best man Keith was too immature to commit to the rest of his life, even though the only thing that changed was that his left hand got a little heavier with some bling.

Mary and Keith are enthusiastic travellers so wanted a spectacular honeymoon over a spectacular wedding venue so had opted for their super cute village hall. The village hall may have been cheaper than most wedding venues, but it was a beautiful space and Mary had done a fantastic job making it look magical.

Hog Roast Wortley’s catering mangers had been asked to do the wedding breakfast and the wedding reception food. Keith and Mary had selected Hog Roast Wortley’s BBQ menu for their wedding breakfast which entailed the traditional burgers and sausages, butcher made and also zesty chicken kebabs and meaty sticky BBQ ribs. The feast indeed as the menu also comes with chips, freshly fried on site to ensure crispness and two salads: coleslaw and Greek, both as equally tasty as the other.

Hog Roast WortleyThe evening food was just as exciting, Keith and Mary had chosen a spit-roasted pig. The pig started to rotate and roast six hours prior to the agreed serve. As it spun and cooked, the guests were teased by the gorgeous aroma it let off and loved the fact that they could see it cooking away. Catering managers Darren and Claire had made slits in the pig skin and rubbed it with a mixture of water and salt, this encourages extra crunch for the crackling. Keith and Mary were not disappointed, the crackling was spot on. The evening guests enjoyed a hearty pork and stuffing roll.

Darren, Claire and their team hope that Keith and Mary enjoy their honeymoon travelling across several different states in America.
